MEET THE DESIGNER

With decades of experience and a refined creative vision, Valma Muir is known for her creative flair and meticulous attention to detail. Her portfolio spans sophisticated hospitality venues, exceptional high-end residences, and polished corporate environments—each shaped by a deep understanding of space, texture, and atmosphere. The result is luxurious design that feels timeless, personal, and effortlessly composed. Her ethos embraces a commitment to paying close attention to the client's vision and then carefully interpreting that to achieve even more than what is expected. Her first interior design project was a boutique hotel that she and her partner at the time built and operated for ten years. The brief to themselves was to create something outstanding in every aspect, be it the design, the service, and the attention to detail, all underpinned by an unrestricted vision of excellence. The hotel went on to be voted one of the top hundred hotels in the world in its second year of operation, attracting high profile clients from all over the world. It also unexpectedly spawned a new career for Valma as a interior designer and a project manager. In tandem to her successful career as an interior designer, Valma was previously a qualified photographer and founded and ran three film editing companies. She has also pursued other interests, increasing her wider experience. These include qualifying as a helicopter and fixed wing pilot, completing a master trader qualification in forex trading and more recently writing books and music. Her core philosophy is...
